Halloween!!!

is coming soon!!!
BUT!!!
Unfortunately, Japanese people don't have any interest in it.
So even the day, we don't have any event such as visiting someone's house and saying "trick or treat" to get some sweets.
Do you guys do something at that day?
Have you ever disguised before?
If we had halloween event in Japan,I wanted to disguise myself as a witch because it looks a little bit smart for me!!!

Anyway, please have a nice Halloween!!!

Halloween is a holiday a lot of Americans celebrate no matter what age they are. Although it is a bit weird and awkward when someone older than 16-17 goes walking around, door to door for candy. That's generally just for kids. We older folk just have our own parties and throw candy at one another!
Dressing as a witch is cool, there are many different ways you can do it. Wtich, ghost, vampire, and superhero costumes are the most popular it seems. Sometimes people copy movie and television characters too. The most important part is that you have fun. =]

Sorry! I will just add that I have dressed up several times and cannot remember what I've been. I know I was a witch once!
Anyway, thank you!

I agree with Rothley's remark of having fun. Goodness, I have been so many things. I think either being a ninja or an executioner was my favorite though, the black costumes made it easy to scare people... although, lately Trick or Treating is happening earlier and earlier. Back when I was younger I went from door to door, and now they are doing it when it is still light out :( Not as much fun in my opinion.

To Rothley.
I saw that many people enjoyed Halloween in various kinds of costumes such as Harry Potter, spider-man or fairy on TV.
That made me so excited so that some day I will visit America to join the party!!!

To Chris.
Was it your favorite costumes that being a ninja or an executioner? That sounds scared!!!
Anyway, I didn't know that Trick or Treating is happening when it is still light out. Although I haven't done it, I also think night should be good for it.
